Monday was a holiday so I decided to take Elizabeth to Butterfly World.
We met up with my friend Michelle, and her two kids plus a friend of
Michelle's who is visiting from Atlanta. We had such a good time. The
weather was perfect, and of course the butterflies were beautiful.
Elizabeth is afraid of the butterflies, and of course I think it's
funny. She's not hysterical afraid, but she is not so crazy about them
touching her. She did really well, and ended up letting me put a
butterfly on her head at one point. She's so cute (I don't think I've
ever mentioned that before!!!!!).
After a couple hours at
Butterfly World, some lunch and some relaxing we headed over to
Michelle's house for a playdate. We love to go over there and spend
time with our friends as we don't get to see them very often. Elizabeth
and Michelle's daughter, Madison, always have a good time playing
together. The kids wanted to bake so Michelle pulled out a muffin mix,
and the three kids had a ball taking turns helping. Baking has become a
tradition now at our playdates.
We had a great day, and we are now members at Butterfly World so we can go back as much as we want.
